VinTech Systems Donates Video Surveillance to the Golf Police Department

At VinTech Systems, we believe technology has the power to strengthen and protect the communities we serve. When we learned that the Golf Illinois Police Department did not have security cameras in place, we saw an opportunity to help provide the department with a modern and reliable surveillance solution.

Located directly alongside the train tracks, the Golf Police Department is in a unique setting where monitoring activity around the station and the department’s main entrances can be especially important. With the department serving a small community, our team worked with the Golf Police Department to determine an appropriate surveillance solution based on the size and layout of the facility.

How Police Departments Benefit From Cloud Surveillance

Our donation included two high-definition video surveillance cameras with cloud connectivity. We installed both cameras to focus on the department’s main entrances, a solution designed to provide useful coverage while remaining appropriate for the size and needs of the department.  

Additionally, we chose cloud surveillance because it allows authorized users to securely access and manage video footage remotely through an internet-connected platform. Instead of relying solely on traditional on-site recording equipment, footage can be securely stored in the cloud, making it easier to access recordings when needed. This provides added flexibility, convenience, and reliability while helping ensure important video evidence is available when it matters most.

The department has been pleased with both the quality and appearance of the cameras. Beyond providing an added layer of security, the new system gives officers a clearer view of activity around the facility and provides reliable video that can support situational awareness and incident documentation when needed.
